Home Life Health Care is hiring for a Personal Care Attendant to make difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. In this role, you'll provide supportive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, dignity, and well-being. This position is provided in-home. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals promptly Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings using personal transportation methods when necessary Document care activities accurately in accordance with resident's rights and facility policies Skills At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of care plans, medication administration protocols, and patient monitoring techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information First aid and CPR certification to respond effectively in emergencies

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
