A caregiver can be described as a professional who helps individuals with daily activities with which they may require assistance for. A caregiver traditionally works in a one-on-one environment with a patient or person who needs care. This could be in their home or the home of a relative or a designated place of residence. The caregiver role may include but not limited to activities such as: Assisting client who may experience physical difficulties. Help clients in everyday activities such as dress, bathe or eating. Plan or prepare nutritious meals. Help client maintain satisfactory hygiene. Assist in shopping. Maintaining a clean environment. Do necessary housekeeping. Provide transportation.
