Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. This rewarding role involves providing comprehensive support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. You will be an essential part of creating a nurturing environment, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring each client receives attentive, respectful care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality Facilitate safe patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being, especially for those with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders Maintain cleanliness in the home environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Assist with mobility and manual handling to ensure safety during movement or transfers Support clients in community outings or transportation needs using personal transportation assistance Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and emergency response procedures Requirements Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, patient monitoring, and vital signs measurement Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued Ability to assist with personal transportation and support clients in community settings Compassionate attitude dedicated to providing respectful, person-centered care in home environments Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving. $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.5 - 36.75 per week
