Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Pro to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior and long-term care, with experience in assisting individuals with various health and mobility needs. As a Care Pro, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalized care, support, and companionship. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration under supervision or according to protocol. Support residents with cognitive disabilities, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, using specialized techniques for memory care. Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe patient transfers while adhering to safe patient lifting practices. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and assisting with light housekeeping tasks. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care techniques. Ability to perform vital signs monitoring accurately and confidently. Proficiency in safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures. Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively. Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is required or obtainable upon hire. $13.50 - $17.50 per hour
