Job Description

Private Duty Caregiver Safe and Sound Home Care We are a family-owned company dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional care givers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of needs, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutrition, and much more. We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and ethical care givers to join our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation. Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors' appointments, walks, etc.). Plan and prepare meals. Complete client shopping or accompany them. Perform housekeeping duties. Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency. Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner. Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends. Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year). Willingness to enforce safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
