In Home Caregiver (Overnight)

Job Summary:

Safe and Sound Home Care, a family-owned company dedicated to providing professional, private duty care to help the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home, is seeking a compassionate and skilled In Home Caregiver (Overnight) to join our team. As an In Home Caregiver (Overnight) , you will work one-on-one with clients in the Oxford, MS area, providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and eating, to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents Assist with medication administration and ambulation Help clients with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks Plan and prepare meals Complete client shopping or accompany them on outings Perform light housekeeping duties Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency Offer activities that are essential for daily living, including assisting with meal preparation and other tasks

Qualifications:

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and willing to continuously learn new skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) Willingness to enforce help in safety standards High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver Take pride in high-quality care
