Job Description
Silver House adult mental health group home is recruiting for direct care staff (Home Staff) positions in our adult mental health group home. This is a n afternoon shift position.
The role of Home Staff is to provide coaching, training, teaching, supervision and support to residents of the home. Home staff work to ensure the home is a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for all residents at all times. Home staff work in a team environment ensuring the treatment program is implemented consistently and continually by all staff at all times. Home staff work individually and in groups with clients to help clients build skills, shape behaviors, and develop coping skills which facilitate discharge from the group home to a more independent setting. Home staff provide a safe, healthy, and therapeutic environment adhering to all company policies, house rules, client rights and obligations, and the companies philosophy and mission statement at all times
