Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful environment. Morning shift ready to start immediately 3.5 hours a day Monday thru Sunday possible full time soon. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Support patients with meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring a hygienic environment Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for residents or clients Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes setting is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures to handle urgent situations confidently Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, and patient monitoring techniques Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's disease), or memory care needs Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's (personal assistance devices) Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining flexibility in caregiving tasks Join us as a Caregiver if you are passionate about providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference.
