Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs Support clients with mobility aids including Hoyer lifts and safe transfer methods to promote independence and safety Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infectious diseases Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care to promote a clean, safe environment Skills Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent healthcare training with experience in senior or long-term care settings Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities dementia and parkinsons Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, catheter care, and basic life support (CPR) certification preferred Familiarity with patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques ensuring safe patient mobility Strong communication skills for caregiver-patient interactions and collaboration within healthcare teams Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during patient transfers or mobility assistance This role is perfect for compassionate caregivers eager to provide high-quality support in a private home environment.
