This role lets you make a meaningful difference for seniors, veterans, and adults who need support at home through personalized companionship, personal care assistance, and help with daily activities. You'll help create a safe, respectful environment that promotes independence and dignity. If you are caring, dependable, and ready to support others in everyday life, this is a flexible part-time opportunity to grow your caregiving skills while making a real impact. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing support, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and independence Provide companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support Provide medication reminders only (not medication administration) per the care plan Prepare simple meals as assigned and assist with eating/hydration support when needed Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and help keep the home safe and comfortable Support client mobility and transfers using proper techniques and agency-approved equipment as trained and assigned Support respite coverage and post-hospitalization routines when scheduled Transport clients to appointments or community activities when authorized Document visit notes, report changes promptly to the office, and communicate respectfully with clients and families Follow each client's care plan and Pragmatik Home Care policies Qualifications Compassion for seniors, veterans, and adults needing in-home support Prior caregiving, companion, CNA/PCA, or home care experience preferred (not required — we train the right people) Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's support or disability support is a plus CPR/First Aid certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation strongly preferred Ability to pass a background check and reference checks Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional work ethic Comfortable working independently in a client's home Authorized to work in the United States Schedule Part-time, flexible shifts based on client needs (days, evenings, weekends, or a mix).
