Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of long-term care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering personalized care and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to maintaining resident rights and dignity while fostering a supportive home community environment. Responsibilities Provide direct support and personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication administration protocols. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of residents. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the personal care home, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to promote a comfortable living space for residents. Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality in all interactions. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with home community care systems is advantageous. Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in personal care is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
