We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) who are passionate about helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their homes and communities. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide personalized support with daily living activities while building meaningful relationships with the individuals and families we serve. We are looking for team members who lead with patience, kindness, professionalism, and a genuine heart for people. Whether working in a client's home or community setting, you will play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where clients feel respected, valued, and cared for. Duties & Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting independence and dignity Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or overall well-being to the appropriate supervisor Monitor and document vital signs when required by the care plan Assist with mobility transfers and safely use equipment such as gait belts, Hoyer lifts, or resident lifts when needed Follow individualized care plans and agency policies to ensure quality care and compliance Maintain accurate documentation, visit records, and timesheets Support clients with reminders for medications, appointments, and daily routines as outlined in the care plan Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities to support emotional and mental wellness Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times Adhere to all safety procedures, infection control standards, and emergency protocols Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or community-based care preferred Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, mental health diagnoses, or memory care needs is a plus Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to safely assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility support Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred Current TB test or willingness to obtain one Ability to pass background screening in accordance with state requirementWhy Join Love Plus Home Health Care?
