Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in their homes or residential facilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans and document observations and services provided

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism, hospice care, or in childcare settings is preferred
• Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in assisted living facilities is a plus
• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques, including taking vital signs, is beneficial
