Position:
- Direct Support Provider for adults and children with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) diagnoses
- Services may be home, community, or facility based.
- Service hours will be first shift, ranging from (7:30 am-4:30 pm) and second shift (3:00 pm-8:00 pm).
Position Duties:
- Support activities of daily living
- Maintain safety and supervision of participants
- Assist participants with personal care and other needs
- Support the personal, emotional, and behavioral health of participants
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma
- Must be able to work in various environments and temperatures due to the range of outdoor activities conducted
- Must be able to traverse uneven ground
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR or attend training provided by employer
- Ability to lift a person
Key Skills:
- Applicant must be flexible and able to work in a team atmosphere
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Must demonstrate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Pay:
- Starting rate of pay is currently $15 per hour which includes the employee's regular rate of pay and a pay differential.
