Responsibilities:
What You'll Do As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care based on each client's individualized care plan.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meal assistance. Supporting daily household activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, and errands. Providing transportation, escort services, companionship, and sitter services as assigned. Monitoring clients' well-being and promptly reporting changes in their physical, emotional, or medical condition. Maintaining accurate documentation, time records, and electronic visit verification (EVV) as required. Reporting schedule changes, incidents, safety concerns, abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately. Serving as an advocate for clients who may benefit from additional community resources or a higher level of care. Participating in supervisory visits and following all infection prevention and safety guidelines, including appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Performing other duties as assigned to support quality client care. Why Join Amivie? Qualifications:
What We're Looking For We're seeking caring individuals who are committed to providing exceptional service and treating every client with dignity and respect.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience providing home care or community-based services is preferred but not required. Current TB skin test. Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance. Professional appearance and dependable attendance. Ability to perform assigned caregiving tasks safely and compassionately. Successful completion of required criminal background screening. No findings on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry, in accordance with state requirements.
