Job Description

The Arc of North Carolina is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Support Associate to provide part-time, one-on-one support to an individual with an intellectual/developmental disabilities in the Lillington, NC area. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. The Support Associate will provide hands-on assistance and support with daily activities, personal care, and community participation.
Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the individual with daily activities in the home and community
  • Providing physical assistance with mobility and daily routines
  • Assisting with lifting and transfers as needed
  • Providing personal care and hygiene support The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, patient, and comfortable helping with personal care and daily activities.
The candidate must be able to safely assist with lifting and transfers and provide hands-on support when needed. They should also be comfortable working with the individual's family and treat the individual with kindness, dignity, and respect. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
