We have opportunities throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville , with shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours . What We Offer Pay ranging from $16.50-$25.00 per hour Weekly pay Rates based on experience, client needs, and shift length Full-time and part-time opportunities Shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours The ability to build a schedule around your availability Paid training Ongoing education and professional development Support from our office team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Caregiver Responsibilities Responsibilities vary depending on each client's care plan and may include: Safely operating a mechanical or Hoyer lift Assisting with transfers, mobility, and repositioning Providing hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care Supporting clients who require extensive or total assistance with daily activities Following transfer and fall-prevention procedures Providing companionship and supervision Preparing meals and providing medication reminders Performing light housekeeping Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition Following the client's care plan and communicating concerns to the Griswold office Providing two-person assistance when required by the care plan Requirements Previous hands-on caregiving experience Experience safely using a mechanical or Hoyer lift Comfortable assisting clients with complex personal care and mobility needs CNA or PCA certification is strongly preferred Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Current TB test or willingness to obtain one Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and current auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Dependable, compassionate, professional, and safety-focused Able to perform the physical responsibilities of the position safely Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team If you are an experienced caregiver who is confident providing hands-on support to clients with higher-acuity needs, apply today to join the Griswold Home Care team!
