Job Summary Looking for a part-time opportunity with flexible hours?? Ambleside Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a paraprofessional. As a PRN staff member, you will be a key team player, providing relief to group home staff members to ensure they are able to get routine breaks to prevent burnout. This positions requires working no less than 2 shifts per month. The shift and frequency is entirely based on your preference and when you would like to work. How does it work? Each week the Regional Operations Coordinator will reach out to see what hours you are available to work. Based on need and availability shifts will then be assigned. Responsibilitie s
  • provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assist with Daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
  • Help individual develop social and life skills
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
  • Complete all assigned duties for that specific shift Qualifications
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required
  • Experience working with autistic individuals
  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
