Job Description

Operate a dump truck and safely deliver construction materials such as asphalt, borrow material, excavation, and stone base to various projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate a dump truck but not limited to that type of truck. Must be able to perform pre-trip inspection on truck. Transport and deliver construction materials to projects in a timely manner. May perform other duties or operate other types of trucks. Operate the vehicle in a safe, lawful, and courteous manner at all times. Follow written or verbal directions. Work hours as demanded by the project owner, could include nights, weekends. Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
Minimum Requirements Education:
CDL Class A or B Drivers' License Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year CDL Drivers' experience Must be at least 21 years old Weekend work may be required.
Physical Demands:
Heavy lifting may be required.
Physical Activity:
Position requires the ability to continuously work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil, and heavy equipment. Lanier Construction has successfully completed many projects for both private companies and governmental agencies across the State of North Carolina. Lanier's services include grading & excavation, storm drainage, water & sewer utilities, bridge, and road construction.
