Seniors Helping Seniors® Raleigh is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care and companionship to older adults in their homes. Our caregivers help seniors remain safe, active, and independent while building meaningful relationships along the way. What You'll Do Depending on the client's needs, caregivers may assist with: Companionship and conversation Personal care and hygiene assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities Walking and mobility assistance Meaningful activities and social engagement Other non-medical support that helps clients remain safely at home What We Offer $15.00-$18.50 per hour Flexible scheduling Part-time hours with opportunities for additional shifts Paid orientation and ongoing training Defined caregiver training and career-development opportunities Caregiver recognition and rewards Employee referral bonuses Support from a local office team that knows our caregivers and clients One-on-one client assignments rather than facility-based care What We're Looking For Successful caregivers are: Compassionate, patient, and dependable Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and our office team Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts Interested in helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life Requirements Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Current automobile insurance Ability to travel to client homes in our service area Ability to assist clients with personal care and daily activities as required by the assignment Preferred Qualifications At least one year of caregiving experience, either professional or personal Personal Care Assistant (PCA) experience Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification Previous home care, senior care, assisted living, or healthcare experience Caregiving experience does not have to come only from a paid position. Current Scheduling Needs We have opportunities throughout the week, with a particular need for caregivers who can work evenings and weekends . Availability for longer shifts, weekends, and multiple days per week may provide additional opportunities for hours. Work Location Care is provided in clients' homes throughout Raleigh and surrounding communities. Caregivers travel directly to their assigned clients.
