Pay rate is related to recent hands-on experience, LNA license status (not required), and shift. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility. Follows resident care plans in providing services to residents. Perform safety checks and toileting rounds on residents. Document information pertaining to changes in resident's functional status, personal needs, behaviors, etc. Report concerns about residents to supervisor and co-workers. Respond to resident calls and emergencies; arrange for appropriate medical attention. Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations, and personnel. Review the Staff Communication log on a daily basis for information about changes in resident service needs and/or health conditions. Do resident laundry as needed, including washing, folding, and returning to rooms. Perform light housekeeping of common areas. Assist in keeping the environment safe for residents. Performs all other duties assigned. Education and Qualifications Ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write and understand English Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds Spend long periods of time walking/standing Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school degree or equivalent
GED MUST
be reliable Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years prior experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting and to who hold a Licensed (or Certified) Nursing Assistant Certificate.
