Who We Hope to Find We're hoping to meet someone who: Lives in a single-family home in the Manchester/Bedford area Has a calm, predictable household Enjoys helping others and finds meaning in providing support Has experience or comfort working with adults who have intellectual disabilities Can offer gentle reminders for morning routines, hygiene, and seasonal clothing Appreciates quiet days, simple routines, and a low-stimulation lifestyle Communicates kindly and patiently Understands that trust and comfort grow slowly, with time and consistency Is motivated by compassion and connection rather than financial need Values teamwork and is willing to collaborate with the individual's family and care team What Daily Life Looks Like The individual you would be welcoming is friendly, gentle, and enjoys simple routines. She likes cartoons, quiet time, and familiar tasks like making her bed or washing dishes. She does best with clear structure and patient guidance, especially in the mornings.

Your role would include:

Offering a safe, loving home Helping with daily routines and gentle reminders Encouraging small, achievable steps toward independence Staying in touch with her family and care team Participating in meet‑and‑greets and a gradual transition period Supporting her in feeling comfortable, valued, and included Support You'll Receive You won't be doing this alone.

The program provides:
