Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our team during the day shift, dedicated to providing exceptional support and care to clients in their home . As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing client's quality of life by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful atmosphere. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure clients health status is maintained. Support client with medication reminders following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures. Provide companionship and engage client in social activities to promote mental well-being and community involvement. Maintain cleanliness of clients home performing light housekeeping and keeping up with daily tasks. Document care provided accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members about residents' needs. Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavior management techniques. Ability to operate a standard passenger car for transportation purposes; valid driver's license required. Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a positive but not required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with client transfers safely; manual handling skills essential. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork, working alongside a care team. Join our great team!! $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
