Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in a home or community setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, disability support, and patient monitoring, with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This role involves assisting with daily activities, administering medication, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for residents with diverse needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, and other health conditions. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to detect changes or concerns Provide specialized care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use for resident transfers Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans regularly Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship and engagement activities Ensure cleanliness of the living environment through light cleaning duties Follow safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures in emergency situations Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver comprehensive care Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, and memory care practices highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance required Background in long-term care or home health services is advantageous Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates Demonstrated ability to work patiently with seniors or individuals with special needs in a compassionate manner This full-time caregiver position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while working in a supportive team environment.
