Hillcrest Academy in Bayville, NJ is looking for friendly, energetic, hard-working employees to join our team. Hillcrest is a licensed childcare center, preschool and summer camp, teaching infants through Pre-K, with an aftercare program for children up to 13 years olds.
Job Description :
Full-Time Caregiver for our Infant Room who will: Interact frequently, affectionately, and respectfully by smiling, touching, and holding children. Respect and observe children's interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety. Enhance children's play with language, toys, and activities. Communicate directly with each child at the child's level by speaking in a friendly, calm, soft, courteous manner. Take every opportunity to positively extend children's thinking and actions. Be available and responsive to children's needs. Encourage and model social behavior and expectations that are developmentally appropriate. Follow age-appropriate lesson plans following our Curriculum provided by the Lead Infant Caregiver. Ensure children are cared for by changing diapers frequently, following feeding schedules and offering age-appropriate developmental activities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Maintain a current CPR/First Aid Certification. Complete required annual professional development trainings
