This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. Duties As a Personal Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Observing and reporting any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Supporting clients with mobility and transferring, which may involve heavy lifting. Assisting with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs. Offering direct support for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Engaging clients in memory care activities to promote cognitive function and social interaction. Providing hospice care as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life stages. Qualifications To be considered for the Personal Care Assistant position, candidates should meet the following qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred. Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in health status. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and their families.
