Job Description

About the job Hudson & Bergen County +
Surrounding Areas About Golden Pear Home Care LLC:
"Rooted in Family. Grown in Trust. Tended with Love." Golden Pear Home Care LLC is a newly registered, private-pay, non-medical home care agency serving clients in Jersey City, Hudson County, and the surrounding areas of New Jersey. We were founded on a simple belief: that aging at home with dignity, independence, and the support of a trusted companion is one of the greatest gifts a family can provide. We are hiring our first Companion Caregivers — and we are building this team with intention. If you are warm, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with older adults, we want to hear from you. What Makes This Role Different You are a W-2 employee — not an independent contractor. We handle your taxes, and you are covered under our workers' compensation and general liability insurance from day one. This is strictly non-medical. You will never be asked to perform nursing tasks, handle medications, or do anything outside your role. Clear boundaries mean you can focus on what you do best — being a great companion. You will be matched thoughtfully. We take the time to match you with clients whose personality, schedule, and needs are a good fit for you. We believe the right match makes the work more meaningful for everyone. You are joining at the beginning. As one of our first hires, you have the opportunity to help shape what Golden Pear Home Care becomes — the culture, the standards, and the reputation we build in this community.
