URGENTLY HIRING LIVE IN CAREGIVER
Homewatch CareGivers of Cape May is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to an individual as a live in caregiver in their home. We are seeking this caregiver for a client in Cape May County. As a Live in Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care.Duties Include:
Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document client health status and any changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation as required by healthcare protocols. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times. Assist with memory care activities for patient experiencing cognitive challenges. Launder patient clothing and bedding as needed to maintain hygiene standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Experience Active HHA Certification is required. Previous experience in live in role, caregiving or home health aide role is required. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is highly desirable Experience in long-term care settings is a plus, especially for those working with elderly or disabled patients. Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous. Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patient conditions effectively. Salary starting at $1,400 a week for 6 days.
