Job Summary Mountain Lakes Country Day School is seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our infant team. This full-time position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include:

Caring for infants ages 3 to 17 months, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in play Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of all children in your care Communicating effectively with parents Reading stories, playing, and providing a nurturing and stimulating environment Implementing age-appropriate, developmentally enriching activities You'll be part of a supportive team of four experienced infant teachers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with young children and demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and a genuine love for infants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide care and supervision for a small group of children. Create daily classroom plans and routines. Ensure a clean, safe, and engaging environment for all children at all times. Demonstrate a growing understanding of child development through daily interactions, written documentation, and communication with families. Accurately record daily activities, injuries, and notable behaviors using daily sheets, and complete required incident or injury reports. Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure consistency and transparency in care.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age Must demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Prior experience caring for infants is strongly preferred
