Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. This vital role offers a unique opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting clients in a comfortable, familiar environment. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of life through attentive and respectful service. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status and report changes promptly Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive disabilities through tailored behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences while maintaining a clean and organized living space Drive clients to appointments or errands using a standard passenger car, adhering to safe driving practices Qualifications Proven assisted living experience or long-term care background in residential or community settings Familiarity with dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, and geriatrics best practices Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in group homes or personal care environments Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and maintain physical stamina for extended periods of active caregiving Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Valid driver's license with experience operating a standard passenger vehicle safely Join our team as a Live-In Caregiver if you are passionate about making a positive impact on lives through dedicated caregiving.
