Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including clinics, outpatient facilities, and teaching hospitals. This role is crucial for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. Responsibilities Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times. monitor client health conditions. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Requirements Previous experience as an In Home Caregiver or in a similar role within a clinic or hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with geriatrics will be considered a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory. Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.
