Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, whether they are seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice care. Your commitment to patient care will help foster a nurturing environment that promotes independence and dignity. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility assistance. Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines. Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Experience in home community care or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques, particularly for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to provide hospice care and support for end-of-life needs is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is advantageous but not mandatory.
