Caregiver / Direct Care Staff - Assisted Living Hummingbird Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team. We are a small, family-owned assisted living home that provides personalized care in a warm, home-like environment. Our caregivers play an important role in helping our residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Safely transfer residents using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts (training provided if needed). Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, and encouraging hydration. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition. Document resident care accurately and communicate with the care team. Provide companionship while treating every resident with dignity, kindness, and respect. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and resident rights. Qualifications Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, or assisted living experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Reliable, dependable, and compassionate. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely. Current CPR certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check and meet all state employment requirements. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Schedule 12-hour shifts

Day Shift:
