In-Home Caregiver for Veterans Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical support to veterans in their homes. As a caregiver, you will help improve the quality of life for those who have served our country by assisting with daily activities and offering companionship.

Responsibilities include:

Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (as needed) Meal preparation and assistance with feeding Medication reminders (no medication administration) Light housekeeping and laundry Transportation to appointments or errands Encouragement with physical activity and mobility Monitoring safety and reporting changes in condition

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience required High School Diploma or equivalent Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program Well-organized and reliable Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and physically perform job-related duties Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day Positive and compassionate attitude Available to work weekday shifts Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards A heart for helping others, especially veterans Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
