These duties involve responsibility for the daily operation and supervision of case management services in a community mental health program. The work will be performed under the direction of the Clinical Director. Does related work as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EITHER:
A.Possession of a license issued by the State of New York to practice as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Registered Professional Nurse and two (2) years of experience providing direct services to persons diagnosed with mental disabilities or linking persons diagnosed with mental disabilities to services essential to living in a community setting or working in such a setting in a supervisory capacity; OR, B.Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Master's degree in Mental Health or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience providing direct services to persons diagnosed with mental disabilities or linking persons diagnosed with mental disabilities to services essential to living in a community setting or working in such a setting in a supervisory capacity; OR, C.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience providing direct services to persons diagnosed with mental disabilities or linking persons diagnosed with mental disabilities to services essential to living in a community setting or working in such a setting in a supervisory capacity.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Successful clearance of criminal background check facilitated through New York State Office of Mental Health.
- Successful clearance from the State Central Registry in the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (Background investigation is conducted by the appointing authority).
- Possession of a valid New York State driver's license at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
