Job Title:

Overnight Dementia Care Aide (6:00 PM-6:00 AM) Pierre-Louis Geriatric Care LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate overnight aide to support older adults living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease in our social adult night-care program. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting individuals who may experience nighttime restlessness, confusion, wandering, agitation, or difficulty sleeping.

Schedule Overnight shift:

6:00 PM-6:00 AM Full-time and part-time positions may be available Weekend and holiday availability is preferred Responsibilities Provide continuous supervision throughout the overnight shift Assist clients with toileting, changing, showering, dressing, and personal-care needs Redirect and reassure clients experiencing confusion, anxiety, or agitation Assist with bedtime and morning routines Monitor clients for changes in behavior or condition Maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment Complete basic shift documentation Communicate important updates to nursing staff and management Work cooperatively with other team members Qualifications Previous dementia or Alzheimer's care experience is required Experience working in home care, assisted living, memory care, or a similar setting Patient, dependable, compassionate, and professional Must remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift Comfortable providing personal care and behavioral redirection Strong communication and observation skills Must pass required background and reference checks About Our Program Our program provides structured overnight care for older adults with dementia while giving family caregivers a safe and dependable respite option. We are looking for someone who understands that successful dementia care requires patience, kindness, consistency, and a good sense of humor on the nights when nobody believes it is bedtime.
