Position Overview:

As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors, helping enhance their quality of life through meaningful engagement and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship through conversation, reading, and active listening Engage clients in recreational activities and hobbies for social stimulation Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Offer timely medication reminders Encourage safe, mild exercise and mobility Perform light housekeeping (dusting, sweeping, mopping) Assist with laundry and linens (washing, folding, ironing) Provide shopping assistance (groceries, clothing, errands) Plan and prepare meals based on dietary needs and preferences Provide incidental transportation (appointments, errands, social visits) Assist with personal care supervision (bathing, toileting, dressing) Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior Accurately document services provided according to company policies Communicate any scheduling or assignment changes promptly

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of three professional references Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation Must be at least 18 years old Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening
