Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and diapering for infants and toddlers Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills Ensure safety by adhering to child supervision best practices and behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports safe play and learning experiences Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs Proven experience caring for children across different age groups, including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster learning and fun Certification in First Aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Excellent child supervision skills combined with effective behavior management techniques Effective communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Previous daycare or babysitting experience is highly desirable Teaching experience with young children or youth programs is a plus Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate caregiving! Pay:
$23.79 - $28.65 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
