Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for elderly female. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, medication management and personal assistance. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference with daily activities and long-term care needs. Candidates must be committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while adhering to all healthcare regulations and privacy standards. Must be registered with Medicaid PPL for payment. LPN license preferred. Responsibilities Assist patient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Prepare light meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, laundry, maintaining a safe environment. Observe and document patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Qualifications Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, home health, hospice, or long-term care settings preferred Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Nursing Assistant (CNA) are highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation technique Strong communication skills and the ability to work compassionately Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA compliance, and documentation procedures Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for patient We have two 4 hours shifts available each week. Possibility for additional hours as needed. The position offers an opportunity to provide vital support within a caring environment while developing your skills in eldercare and healthcare services.
