Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to senior in a home setting. In this vital role, you will promote independence, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of life for elderly residents by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Your energetic approach and attentive nature will help create a warm, respectful environment where seniors feel valued and cared for every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor residents' health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately. following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Prepare nutritious meals suited to dietary restrictions and preferences, supporting overall health and well-being. Support residents with mobility using proper patient transfer methods. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Document care activities, update resident care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress or concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to support diverse needs. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays demonstrates your versatility as a caregiver. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Demonstrated understanding of resident's rights, patient monitoring procedures, and the importance of personalized care plans.
