Job Description
Overview Classen Home Health is seeking compassionate, professional, dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in their homes. We are specifically seeking certified (PCA, HHA, or CNA) caregivers with cooking experience and daytime availability. Bonus if you have knowledge and/or experience working in a Kosher kitchen! Responsibilities Assist client with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor client to ensure their good health and report any concerns to nursing staff promptly. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support client with memory care and dementia through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement. Provide companionship, intelligent conversation, and emotional support. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal prep. Potentially drive your client to the grocery store, a doctor's appointment, or other errands. Qualifications Prior experience in homecare and/or a long-term care facility like nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with the elderly and/or disabled. Ability to perform physical tasks, including light housekeeping and assisting clients with ambulation. PCA, HHA, and/or CNA certification preferred.
