The Resident Care Attendant (RCA) is responsible for assisting in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. You will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day! !
Responsibilities:
Assists residents with personal care needs such as, but not limited to, medication administration, daily bathing, dressing, grooming, and dental care. Assists in food preparation as needed, serving residents, and the clean-up of meals. May be required to record food and fluid intake as directed by supervisor. Assists as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, inventory of resident possessions, and report any defective equipment to administration and/or maintenance. Assists residents with dispensing medications with proper documentation using the DOT system.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or
GED/TASC
equivalent preferred. Ability to occasionally lift over 60 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and engage in repetitive motion for extended periods of time. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, visitors, vendors, volunteers and the public in person and via the telephone.
