Our Client is seeking a reliable and attentive Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a Day hab program.

Competitive Compensation:

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS

Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
• Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable toileting.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• CPR
• First Aid
• TB (Tuberculosis)
• SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) not required but helpful.
• AMAP(Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
