Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide high-quality support to children and families in a home-based setting. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, and daily well-being while delivering respectful, personalized care aligned with each child's needs and care plan. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility support as directed. Support the child's comfort, safety, and overall well-being in the home environment. Follow the established care plan and communicate observations, changes in condition, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care team. Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the child's care, such as tidying the care area and laundering linens or clothing as needed. Offer companionship, emotional support, and attentive supervision appropriate to the child's age and needs. Support routines, activities, and other household care tasks as outlined in the care plan. Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency, family, and regulatory guidelines. Promote a respectful, safe, and nurturing environment at all times. Qualifications Prior experience providing care in a home health, pediatric, childcare, or similar support role is preferred. Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and reliable care to children with varying needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and care teams. Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures with consistency and attention to detail. Physical ability to assist with routine caregiving tasks as needed. Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, if required. Any required state or agency-specific training, certification, or credentialing must be maintained in good standing.
