This position blends resident support with light housekeeping duties and plays a key role in resident satisfaction and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility as needed Perform light housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, washing dishes, and cleaning common areas Assist with transfers and lifting in accordance with training and safety guidelines Take and accurately record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight Assist or supervise residents with self-medication per facility policy Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly Assist with meal setup, ordering meals, and supervising residents during meals Support individual and group activities as directed Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility policies Communicate respectfully with residents, families, physicians, and team members Uphold safety, emergency, and infection control policies at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in long-term care or customer service preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods Willingness to complete required state-mandated in-service training Working Conditions Indoor work environment in resident rooms, dining areas, activity spaces, and common areas Physically active role requiring good mobility, dexterity, and attention to detail Why Join Our ApPEARently Remarkable Team At Bel Air, we believe our employees are ApPEARently Remarkable.
