Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to children and individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while fostering growth, development, and well-being. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations following established protocols Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for infants and young children Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care tailored to individual needs Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique requirements Proven teaching experience with young children across preschool and elementary age groups Strong background in early childhood education, childcare, daycare experience, or babysitting roles Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, creativity, and learning Knowledge of childhood development milestones and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate caregiving! Pay:
$18.50 - $21.50 per hour
