Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to be a part of our Infant Team at Almost Home. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Change diapers and ensure children"s faces and hands are clean. Pat children to sleep. Maintain a clean and safe environment for young children. Communicate and play with children. Read books and sing songs with children. Supervise for safety and encourage children at large motor play. Communicate effectively with family members regarding the child's daily activities. Accurate and timely documentation of care and activities. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence while providing necessary assistance. Commitment to a part time schedule of Monday through Friday,11:30am to 6:00pm. Qualifications Experience working with infants, toddlers or young children. Background in babysitting, childhood development, or early childhood education is advantageous. Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices. Certification in First Aid is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with parents and team members. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.
