Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Aide to join our team at Marion Rehabilitation. As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, promoting their health, independence, and well-being. Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign monitoring and medication assistance Facilitate patient mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment Respond to patient needs and alarms, reporting concerns to nursing staff as needed Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and standards Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a restorative care environment Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients, as needed Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment
