Evening and Overnight Opportunities Pay:
$16.25-$17/hour + $4,000 Sign-On Bonus Genacross has provided compassionate, faith-based care to children, families, and communities for more than 160 years. We are seeking Youth Residential Worker who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and are looking for a collaborative, team environment. In this role, you will provide direct support and guidance to youth with emotional and behavioral challenges in a structured, home-like environment.
What You'll Do:
Create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth Build positive relationships and serve as a role model and mentor Supervise daily routines, activities, and recreational programming Teach social, behavioral, and independent living skills Support youth through emotional and behavioral challenges Use trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques Assist with meals, hygiene, transportation, and daily living activities Document behaviors, incidents, and progress accurately Participate in treatment planning and team meetings Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming living environment
Youth Residential Worker Qualifications:
High School Diploma required Bachelor's degree preferred Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license required Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with children and adolescents CPR/First Aid certification preferred Why Join Genacross?
