Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to residents in a long-term care or assisted living environment. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will assist residents with daily activities, ensure their safety and comfort, and promote their independence and well-being. Your role is essential in creating a warm, respectful, and engaging atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to support their independence and dignity. Support residents with meal preparation Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are upheld. Document care provided accurately, report changes in resident conditions promptly, and communicate effectively with team members. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Certification or training in first aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or CPR are advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced care-giving setting. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes is desirable. Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
